Celestial Currents
I began pointing my lens at the night sky as a kind of moving meditation. Packing up the gear, driving to a dark stretch of coast, waiting for the Milky Way to rise—each step gave me a clear-cut process to follow when the rest of life felt anything but orderly. Out there, the only “to-do list” was listening for the tide and counting shutter clicks, and for a few quiet hours everything unnecessary slipped below the horizon.
Sharing the results was never the plan; friends just kept asking what I was doing at 2 a.m. on the beach. These frames are my answer. Celestial Currents pairs the slow pull of the Atlantic with the even slower drift of our galaxy overhead—proof that even when things feel turbulent, there’s a larger rhythm worth tuning into. I hope these shots give you a moment of that same stillness.
